FITTING

Your order is very important to us and as such we train our Fitting crews to the highest standard.  When a delivery date is allocated you will be contacted by our dedicated customer service team, who will:

• Ask about the base to make sure it is flat and level (ideally concrete or slabs), the building cannot be fitted if the base is not flat and level.  It needs to be the correct size for the building including allowing for the roof overhang.  Enough room should be allowed to enable you to re-treat the building.
• Ensure that you have considered that there are no trees, branches or similar encroaching on the base or within the working area.
• Ensure you have considered any height restriction to allow the sections to be easily carried through.  Most buildings require an 8’ (2.43m) clearance and will not go through standard doorways, under arches or gates with tops.  Tight corners may be a problem too.  It is your responsibility to provide free and unobstructed access for delivery to the fitting area.  Under no circumstances will components be carried over garage roofs, fences, hedges, walls etc.
• Check the building details.

You do not have to be present when the building is fitted, access must be open and any special fitting instructions should be left for the fitting team.

If on arrival the base is deemed unfit or access cannot be gained due to a restriction and the installation abandoned the building will be left on site for ‘self-assembly’ or when an appropriate base is ready we will erect the building for a fee of 12.5% of the total retail price or a minimum of £40.00.  If we have to manufacture the building again in smaller sections and additional charge will also be added.
