The tiles we use are recycled and recyclable. Class “A” Fire Rated (BS476.Part 3). They are unbreakable, require no maintenance (no moss or mildew), they increase insulation to a roof better than traditional slate. Designed to withstand winds of 110mph. Noise of rain/ hail reduced as the tiles are solid and not hollow. These tiles are suitable for traditional brick houses.

Available in Black, Red, Brown or Green, mineral coated bitumen felt tiles are an attractive and durable roofing material, thicker than standard roofing felt.

The lining is a bitumen paper waterproof membrane. A damp proof membrane is fitted between the framing and cladding whilst the walls are being manufactured. This layer is impervious to moisture and ensures that the inside of your building is drier, ideal if you want to insulate and board your building.

Attractive and durable cedar slatted roof fitted on top of a felted solid inner roof. Cedar slatted roofs are manufactured using smooth planed Western Red cedar boards.

All of the framing, cladding, roof and floorboards will be supplied pressure treated. The preservative, Tanalith E is impregnated into the timber under pressure and penetrates below the surface. The treatment colours the building to a slight green colour this will eventually fade to a silver colour. Tanalith E preservative protects against rot and insect attack, it does not protect against weathering therefore we recommend you re-treat your building using a quality timber treatment. It could also be painted to a colour of your choice.

A professional spray applied paint treatment using Protek Wood Preserver or their Royal Finish preserver. Each section of the building is dip treated then spray painted twice. There are 32 paint colours to choose from. A different colour is possible for window frame surrounds, doorframe surrounds and fascia boards. It is not currently possible to select your choice of custom colours online. If you select the spray applied paint treatment, we will need you to confirm your choice of colours by phone or email. Colours are only as accurate as reproductive techniques allow. The paint manufacturers advise us that the paint treatment should last for up to 5 years before repainting is required.

Bearers are 3” x 3” (75mm x 75mm) timber tanalised posts guaranteed against rot for 15 years. The floor is the most vulnerable part of any garden building; protect your building by investing in bearers, which will raise it completely off the ground allowing the air to circulate under to prevent any damp from entering the building from the floor.
